Grand Hotel Palace

A good hotel, but not quite up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. New and renovated room. Nice dining room and breakfast. Nice and kind staff. Loved the bathroom products, it's an excellent greek brand - Apivita.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful — from the stylish rooms to the elegant common areas. The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and cared for. The level of service is exceptionally high and left a lasting impression.

I did read the negative reviews for the hotel and was skeptical, but I really wanted the underground parking and there are not many options in Thessaloniki in that regard. The hotel turned out to be very nice, the negative reviews appeared to be just false. The room was modern, clean and spacious, the neighborhood is safe (in comparison with let's say Brussels city center), and etc. Yes this is arguably not a true 5 star, but it is worth the money for sure.

Location to the bus terminal was excellent for my stay as I needed to travel across country early the next day. The hotel was very comfortable and well appointed and all the services worked well. Would defo stay here again. Bar and restaurant stayed open late.

What truly stood out was the hotel's thoughtfulness in preparing everything we needed for our baby. Walking into a room that was already set up for our little one made our arrival stress-free and immensely comforting. In summary, our stay at Grand Hotel Palace was a standout experience. We highly recommend this hotel for its grand ambiance, exceptional service, cleanliness, complimentary perks, and the remarkable attention to detail, especially for guests with children. It's a definite 10 out of 10 and a place we'd eagerly return to for another memorable stay.
